Capital Region residents can participate in cancer study | Community Spirit
Capital Region residents will have the opportunity to participate in a study that, according to the American Cancer Society, has the potential to change the face of cancer for future generations.
The Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) is open to men and women between ages 30 and 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer.
Enrollment for the study will take place at the Relay for Life event on Friday, June 8 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Christian Brothers Academy in Colonie. Enrollment will take place between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m.
The event will take place at 12 Airline Drive in Colonie. Other highlights of the relay include:
Opening Ceremony: 7 p.m.
Survivor Lap: 7:15 p.m.
Luminaria Ceremony: 10 p.m.
